Dare County Water Department crews are making repairs. Water is expected to be restored by 6:00 p.m. 

Once water service has been restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect for 24 hours.

A Dare Couny Water crew will be in your area to replace a fire hydrant tomorrow, 5/21/26.  Water service will be distrupted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Outrigger Dr. in Colington as highlighted in yellow on the map below.

Once water service is restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect for 24 hours.
