The Dare County Sheriff's Office offers the Sheriff's 2026 Summer Camp S.A.L.T. for children ages 8 to 14.
There will be summer camp sessions from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, June to August. Campers may sign up for one of the camps.
Session 1 June 8-19
Session 2 June 22 - July 2
Session 3 July 6 - 17
Session 4 July 20 - July 31
Session 5 Aug 3 - 14
The camp activities may include fishing, climbing the Alpine Tower, rock wall, educational field trips and going to the sound. Each child will have opportunities to make new friends, learn ways to deal with challenges and create proud memories.
