The Virginia S. Tillett Community Center Advisory board helps advise and promote goals and policies to enhance Virginia S. Tillett Community Center operations and community outreach.

The board meets on the second Tuesday of each month (except in June, July and August) at 9 a.m. in the conference room at the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center, which is located at 950 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo. Meetings are open to the public.

The Dare County Board of Commissioners welcomes citizen participation on advisory boards and committees. This type of grassroots public involvement is the foundation of democracy and a vital part of maintaining Dare County as a quality place to live.
