Special Use Permit 4-2020 to allow for a renewal and 2-year extension of the permit issued to Rodanthe Sunset Resort LLC which would allow for the completion of the final structure in their Group Development. The property is located at 24280 NC 12 HWY in Rodanthe.
The Dare County Planning Board serves as an advisory board to the Dare County Board of Commissioners on issues of land-use planning in unincorporated Dare County.
Planning Board members are appointed by the Dare County Board of Commissioners and serve staggered, three-year terms. The Planning Board consists of one representative from each of the four geographical voting districts in Dare County and three additional at-large members.

The Planning Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Meetings are held in the Dare County Board of Commissioners Meeting Room at 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo.
