Are you unable to get to the Dare County Library? Don’t worry, we can bring the library to you!

Dare County Library cardholders can have library materials, including print books, magazines, DVDs, and books on CD, delivered to your home on a monthly basis.

Home Delivery is for patrons who are not able to visit one of the Dare County Library's three branches in person.

Eligibility for home delivery includes but is not limited to patrons with physical disabilities, debilities of advanced age, reading or sight impairments, or extenuating circumstances that prevent patrons from using the library, such as new moms or those recuperating from an injury.

• Call the Library to speak with one of our trained staff members and discuss your preferred authors, genres and more.
• Schedule your delivery date.
• We’ll carefully pull together your requested materials and others we think you might enjoy.

• Leave materials and pick up materials that are due.
• With your permission, we can bring the materials inside for you if you are unable to get to the door.
