Wowbrary is a service that provides you free weekly email alerts about the newest items that the Dare County Library purchases
each week. You can customize your Wowbrary newsletter so that you receive updates that are most interesting to you!

You will need your 14-digit library card number (no spaces) and your PIN to log into your account on our catalog or on the Libby app. If you need help finding your library card number or resetting your PIN, please call us:

Here are some tips for using Wowbrary:
When you receive a Wowbrary email, click for mobile view:
and then, on the right hand side, you can choose if you would like to see
physical items that will be added to our catalog
or
electronic items that will be added to the Libby app
Physical Books
If the item does not specify (Electronic Format) or (Downloadable audio), you will place the hold through our online catalog.
- Click on title in your Wowbrary email. The title will open in our online catalog.
- Click on the Place Hold button.
- Enter your library card number and PIN and click Log In
- Select your preferred pick-up location and click Submit Hold.
You're on the list for this title and you will be notified when it arrives.
Electronic Format or Downloadable Audio
When Wowbrary lists titles with (Electronic Format) or (Downloadable Audio), you will place the hold through the Libby app.
- Make sure you have downloaded the Libby app onto your device. For help setting up your account to access E-iNC Library via Libby, visit DareNC.gov/VirtualLibrary or call your library branch.
- Click on the title in your Wowbrary email. The Libby app will open to that title.
- Click Place Hold.
You're on the list for this title and you will be notified by the Libby app when the title is available for you.
