The Dare County Board of Commissioners created the Veterans Advisory Council in respectful recognition of the service and sacrifice of all Dare County Veterans as represented in all the branches of United States military service.

 

The Veterans Advisory Council helps Dare County Veterans by serving as a liaison with the community in coordinating services and activities benefiting Veterans and their families. Members of the Veterans Advisory Council solicit information and provide updates about community based activities honoring Veterans. Meetings of the Veterans Advisory Council are open to the public.

The Veterans Advisory Council meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Dare County Administration Building, 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive, Manteo NC 27954.
