Board of Health Rules
The Dare County Health & Human Services Board is comprised of members selected by the Dare County Board of Commissioners. This board is responsible for policymaking and rulemaking in accordance with North Carolina General Statute Laws and meets at least quarterly throughout the year. The board meets every 4th Tuesday of February, May and August, and on the 3rd Tuesday in November unless otherwise noted. All meetings of the board are subject to the provisions of North Carolina’s open meeting law.
