The Dare County Finance Department is responsible for recording and reporting the financial activities of the county.  All transactions must be verified for compliance with the annual budget ordinance, the North Carolina General Statutes, generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory agency pronouncements and policies adopted by Dare County.
