The Dare County Regional Airport (MQI) is owned by the County of Dare and operated by a nine-member Airport Authority that oversees the airport's daily operations. MQI utilizes two runways (5-23) and (17-35) with radio controlled lighting.  The facility also has AWOS weather service, DME, VOR and ADF navigational equipment.
