Dare County, in partnership with Current TV, has released a new video highlighting the wide range of programs, services and resources available through the Dare County Library. The video provides an overview of the library system and the many ways it supports residents, property owners and workers throughout Dare County, from access to books and digital resources to educational programming, technology, lifelong learning opportunities and more. 

Featuring Dare County Library Director Meaghan Beasley, the video offers an inside look at the resources available at all three Dare County Library branches—the Manteo Library, Kill Devil Hills Library and Hatteras Library. Beasley highlights the library’s participation in NC Cardinal, which provides access to millions of materials through North Carolina’s statewide library consortium, as well as digital resources, home delivery service, children’s and adult programs, the Library of Things and the Dare County Digital Heritage Collection, among others. The video also showcases the library’s commitment to fostering curiosity, creativity, inclusivity and lifelong learning for people of all ages.
