The Dare County Sheriff's Office is proud to protect and serve its community, citizens and visitors. With a current staff of 147 Deputies and support personnel, the Dare County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency working within various divisions. We also run a great Summer Camp for our youth.

On March 20, 2026, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Deputies with the Dare County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to assist the Kill Devil Hills Police Department in conducting a search of a residence in the Kill Devil Hills area. 

The search resulted in the discovery and seizure of a felony amount of methamphetamine.

Randi M. Webb, F/18, from Kill Devil Hills, NC, was arrested and charged with:

  • Felony Possession of Methamphetamine 

Webb was held on a 48-hour hold before being issued a $5,000 secured bond.
