The Dare County Department of Health & Human Services’ Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program is asking community members to complete a short survey to help gather information on what makes breastfeeding successful, what makes breastfeeding challenging, and how our team can better provide support to breastfeeding mothers.

“We greatly appreciate the feedback from the community,” said WIC Director Rylee Simonsen. “Your input is invaluable in helping us improve our services and better meet the needs of women, infants and children in our community.” 

Community members are asked to answer the questions in the survey based on their personal experience or observations. The survey can be found here and will remain open until February 27, 2026.
