Stolen Vehicle Arrest

On August 1, 2025, at 2 p.m., Deputies from the Dare County Sheriff’s Office located the stolen vehicle, out of Roanoke Rapids, NC, traveling along US Highway 158 near Nags Head.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop and detained the driver. During the search of the vehicle, with assistance from the Nags Head Police K-9 Unit, drug paraphernalia was located and seized. 

William T. Biggs, M/49, from Roanoke Rapids, NC, was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, (M) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and served with a Felony Warrant from the Roanoke Rapids Police Department.

Mr. Biggs was issued a $35,000 secured bond.
