Kitty Hawk Park opened in August 2011 and features a skate park and one of four dog parks in Dare County. The park is operated by the Dare County Parks & Recreation Department's Northern Beach Division. Kitty Hawk Park opens at 7 a.m. and closes at sunset.

*The Northern Beach Division of the Dare County Parks & Recreation Department oversees the Kitty Hawk Dog Park. The Kitty Hawk Dog Park is open to all Dare County residents, property owners and visitors.
In order to receive the keycode for entrance and exit through the gate at the Kitty Hawk Dog Park, dog owners are required to complete the Kitty Hawk Dog Park Application and bring the completed application, as well as a current rabies certificate for each dog, to the Dare County Parks & Recreation Department's Northern Beach Division office, which is located within the Dare County Youth Center at Family Recreation Park (602 Mustian Street in Kill Devil Hills).
Please review the entire application, responsibility and liability release statement, dog park rules and guidelines before completing the application. Occasionally, the keycode will be changed, and owners will be required to submit an updated rabies vaccination certificate in order to be granted access.
