The Dare County Administration Building, which is located at 954 Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo, serves as the administrative headquarters of Dare County government. The facility is situated just east of the Dare County Justice Center and just west of the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center, all of which are part of the Dare County Governmental Complex that is accessible via Marshall C. Collins Drive in Manteo. 

The Dare County Administration Building houses the offices of numerous Dare County departments, including Elections, Finance, Friends of Youth, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), Planning, Public Relations and Transportation. In addition to these Dare County departments, the Dare County Board of Commissioners meeting room is also located adjacent to the Dare County Administration Building.
