The Dare County Youth Center at Family Recreation Park in Kill Devil Hills hosts a wide variety of programs and activities for local youth and adults, including volleyball, basketball, pickleball, dance and gymnastics, among many others. In the afternoons, the facility is also used by numerous middle school and high school children who participate in the Dare County Parks & Recreation Department's after-school program, along with children who are participating in various scheduled classes, programs and activities.
