March to Remember 9/11

Thursday, September 11, 2025

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., the community is invited to walk alongside Dare County EMS, the Kill Devil Hills Fire Department, and other local first responders to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

The march will begin at 8:46 a.m., starting at the new Dare County EMS Station 1 (1628 N. Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills), up the Wright Brothers Monument and back to the station. Parking is available at Meekins Field.

No registration or fees—just come together with us to remember and reflect.
