Baum Center Advisory Board Meeting

The mission of the Thomas A. Baum Senior Center Advisory Board (created in July 2024) is to provide citizen input to Dare County in establishing goals and policies concerning the operation of the Thomas A. Baum Senior Center and the center’s community outreach programs.

All Thomas A. Baum Senior Center Advisory Board meetings take place on the second Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. inside the Baum Senior Center's Conference Room.

The Dare County Board of Commissioners welcomes citizen participation on Advisory Boards. This type of grassroots public involvement is the foundation of democracy and a vital part of maintaining Dare County as a quality place to live.

Applications for Advisory Boards are accepted on an on-going basis and considered when a vacancy arises. For more information, contact  Skyler Foley at 252.475.5800 or complete an online application.
